Casio's 3-megapixel cameraphone
Making up in raw power for what it lacks in looks, Casio's latest handset for Japanese carrier KDDI offers the highest-resolution camera yet to grace a cellphone. At 3.2 megapixels it leaves the competition sobbing into their beer until they get around to releasing something better (experience tells us this will be around the end of next week), and it also has a few welcome cameralike refinements such as a USB cradle for battery charging and transferring photos to a PC. It also comes with, er, stereo surround speakers, for those who like to provoke those around them into bouts of homicidal rage and play games on minuscule screens at the same time.
