Next to get a USB connection: The bathroom scales
Omron has finally gone and done it: created a set of bathroom scales that not only tell you more than you want to know about the shape you're in, but allow you to transfer the data to a PC. The complementary pedometer doubles as a USB-compatible storage device that docks to the scales to suck out data on weight and fat levels and send it, along with information about how far you've been walking, to a software application on the PC.
Price is expected to be around the Y20,000 mark; the pedometer will also be available separately.
