Latest cameraphone app: Your picture on a watch face...

Really on the cutting edge, this: Novelty cameraphone cash-in services continue to spring up in Japan; the most prominent recent example we can think of is Cybird's T-Shirts To Go (i-mode site in Japanese here), which allows you to upload 1-3 cameraphone images plus lettering and have them printed onto a shirt. Now MTC are joining the fray with their "PhoTokei" (PhoWatch), which lets you put the image of your choice, plus text up to ten characters, on the face of an, ah, inexpensive watch with an, erm, tasteful background for Y3,900.

Colours available are blue, pink, white, green, and black. Price apparently includes tax and postage within Japan. The K-Tai Watch article linked to below contains links to the various cellphone ordering sites, if you feel inclined.
