DoCoMo pads subscriber numbers

Sounds like the pressure is getting to DoCoMo: According to several media reports, a number of employees at its Kyushu subsidiary signed themselves up for a total of 800 new subscriptions in late February to avoid a net fall in subscriber numbers for the month. The subscriptions were cancelled a few days later, with the employees paying the fees themselves. Unsurprisingly, this rang all sorts of alarm bells and those involved were nabbed. DoCoMo's having a hard fight to stay on top in the face of au's assault; sounds from this like employees' stress levels are faring badly from the experience.
