5 new DoCoMo phones

Seems we spoke too soon on the product front--DoCoMo has announced its D505iS series. These are the customary "partial model change" that DoCoMo does with all its handsets, so nothing earthshattering appears to be in prospect. Details are sketchy at the moment save for the Mitsubishi D505iS, but according to DoCoMo the major new features are megapixel cameras in all the phones, barcode readers, realtime "chat mail", video/audio recording, and external memory cards. Judging from the Mitsubishi phone it also looks like the camera functions have been beefed up a bit, with more "camera-like" settings available to cope with different light conditions and subjects.
Our favourite purely on looks has to be the Sony Ericsson phone (pictured right), which retains the "swivel display" design of its predecessor.

[Update] ZDNet Japan has reviews of the Sony, Panasonic, and NEC phones with more photos. The Panasonic phone turns out to have more to it than meets the eye.
